RIP Michael Jackson…
So very unexpected…
Confused?
Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the “King of Pop” and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50.Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner for Los Angeles County, confirmed his office had been notified of the death and would handle the investigation.
The circumstances of Jackson’s death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to the hospital, Ruda told the newspaper.
Farrah Fawcett too…
Can’t forget Ed McMahon.
LOS ANGELES – Ed McMahon, the loyal “Tonight” show sidekick who bolstered boss Johnny Carson with guffaws and a resounding “H-e-e-e-e-e-ere’s Johnny!” for 30 years, died early Tuesday. He was 86. McMahon died shortly after midnight at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center surrounded by his wife, Pam, and other family members, said his publicist, Howard Bragman.
Bragman didn’t give a cause of death, saying only that McMahon had a “multitude of health problems the last few months.”
McMahon broke his neck in a fall in March 2007, and battled a series of financial problems as his injuries prevented him from working.
Doc Severinsen, “Tonight” bandleader during most of the Carson era, said McMahon was a man “full of life and joy and celebration.”
“He will be sorely missed. He was one of the greats in show business, but most of all he was a gentleman. I miss my friend,” Severinsen said in a statement.
Don Rickles, a frequent “Tonight” guest, said McMahon was “a friend from the day I first walked” onto the show’s stage.
“That kind of fun will never be repeated. Ed was the best at what he did and will never be replaced. Another giant is gone,” the comedian said.
“I will miss that laugh, and I will miss him,” said Bob Newhart, another “Tonight” regular.
David Letterman paid tribute to McMahon as a “true broadcaster” and key part of Carson’s show.
“Ed McMahon’s voice at 11:30 was a signal that something great was about to happen. Ed’s introduction of Johnny was a classic broadcasting ritual — reassuring and exciting,” Letterman said, adding, “We will miss him.”
Letterman’s bandleader, Paul Shaffer, said McMahon “defined professionalism in broadcasting.”
David Brenner, who often filled in as a guest host for Carson, called McMahon “the best sidekick TV has ever known.”
“He was a human GPS navigational system, guiding you in all the right directions, keeping you from going off course, rerouting you when you did and making all of it great fun,” Brenner said.

The Michigan Trip Has Come To An End
Permalink: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgis8av32-8
The Michigan trip has come to an end, next month is Nebraska. Hopefully, I will post some videos while on the road. But don’t bet on it, I enjoy my sleep on road trips, along with I’ll be driving some, and the fact that I’m lazy.
Help! I’ve registered my domain with Vizaweb and I think it’s gone for good!

Don’t fret, because your domain CAN BE SAVED.
The original way to get out of Vizaweb was to contact them (which now, simply just doesn’t happen) and they would gladly move your domain to ‘domains.vizaweb.com’. Well, now when you visit that link you see an “Index of /” page – meaning they’ve completely wiped out their domain system. UGGH! Luckily, I have a solution for those of you who registered through Vizaweb and need a way out.
First off, you need to purchase a “domain name transfer” from another registrar company (Such as GoDaddy, Dotster, etc).
Once you’ve done this, you need to contact the company Vizaweb uses for their registrations (Public Domain Registry), which can be done here: https://support.publicdomainregistry.com/support/index.jsp
Explain to them the situation you are having with Vizaweb and your domain. Within 24-48 Hours you should receive a response back with your Authorization code right in the email. It is recommended to give them the Administrator email address or registrant email address for the domain, if possible, but I’d say with the amount of emails they have been getting about Vizaweb — they won’t even ask questions and just send you the code.
You will use this code to start the transfer ‘authorization’ from Vizaweb to your new registrar.
From there, you will receive an email to your Administrator email address from “Vizaweb Inc” (the email will be from do_not_reply@myorderbox.com) saying that they have received the transfer request and in 4-5 days, the transfer will be automatically accepted.
Ta Da! No more Vizaweb!
Another note: (People with access to their cPanel) Don’t forget to request a complete site back up for your domain and talk to your new host about accepting backup files.
Hope this helps.
